Because the Diocese of Scranton spans 11 counties throughout northeastern and north central Pennsylvania, it is important “to do” everything we can to ensure that all of us remain connected as a community of caring Catholics.

To provide a clear voice and vision to each of our parishioners and to the communities around the Diocese, we are committed to providing a fully integrated media program including print, online and on-air outlets.

The message is delivered through The Catholic Light, the official newspaper of the Diocese; Catholic Television (CTV), the Diocesan television station; and the Diocesan website. Approximately 46,000 copies of The Catholic Light are delivered to households. CTV is available in more than 235,000 homes enabling viewers to watch the daily Mass and many other faith-filled programs. The Diocesan website serves as a comprehensive resource of accessible information, which includes videos of the daily Mass and special liturgies at St. Peter’s Cathedral.
